Providence Health & Services Development (Fundraising) Officer in Walla Walla, Washington
Providence is calling an Development Officer (Foundation Operations, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Analyzes, plans, implements, markets, and manages the various campaigns of the annual giving programs including, but not limited to direct mail, donor clubs, special events, internal campaigns, employee giving events and other support program.
Assists the CPO in working toward the goals and strategies which have been implemented to maximize giving to PSMMC and to determine marketing strategies for new and renewal donors.
Analyzes the results of annual campaigns and provides regular reports for presentation to management and relevant committees with information on all statistical aspects of the program.
Responsible for acquisitions and renewal of recurring gifts in the $1.00 to $10,000.00 range with special emphasis on annual contributions via personal solicitation and other methodologies.
Coordinates with the CPO and staff marketing and communication efforts as related to development.
Identifies and trains volunteers to participate in the development and advancement activities on behalf of the foundation.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited educational institution.
3 years demonstrated experience in fundraising, organizing, implementation, and assessment.
Experience in planning, coordinating and supervising meetings, volunteer boards and committees.
Experience with personal computers and ability to work efficiently in a Windows-based environment.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Experience in conducting employee campaigns.
